Giloy/Guduchi is said to have originated from the drops of Amrit, the Divine nectar. In Ayurveda, Giloy is termed as a Rasayana, and is said to cure all the three Doshas. Studies have reported diverse medicinal properties of the plant, including antidiabetic, anti-arthritic, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anti-stress, anti-allergic, antimalarial, anti-ulcer, hepatoprotective, and immunomodulatory activities. It helps to build up the immune system and increases the resistance of the body against infections.
