For a long time, I wore the good old jockstrap/supporter, in all my workouts, especially during the leg workouts and exercises involving a lot of movement of my testes. Just like all other advices, this was one of the strong advices given to us by our superiors, i.e. to always wear jockstraps/supporters, while performing any workout, and of course like the normal trend went, always follow the coach’s advice, even if it is wrong.
Most people still wear these supporters, from the fear of primarily, two major problems, either hernia or filling of water in the testes, known as Hydrocele. Then there were minor but, made to look serious advices, like if you don’t wear the supporter, “it will damage your reproductive organs”, and “you would never be able to bear children”.
